Sale Day Buyer Information:
TERMS OF SALE: CASH or "GOOD" CHECK. “For your convenience, if your check is returned for any reason, this merchant will electronically debit your account for the amount of the check plus a returned check fee of $30.
Credit/Debit cards accepted with a 3% "convenience fee".
MERCHANDISE: If we notice a chip, crack or imperfection, we will disclose it. Sufficient previewing time was made available of the merchandise. Once we have sold the item, it is yours. We are not responsible for accidents or theft. Electrical items have been inspected and thrown away if it did not power-up. There are no guarantees or warranties implied or expressed. Authenticity and physical condition disputes to be handled between the buyer and seller. All items must be paid for and removed the day of the sale unless acceptable prior arrangements were made with the auctioneers.
PACE OF OUR SALES: We are agents for the seller. However, we make every attempt to move the sale along at a good pace and we blend items from every location to show you a variety during the sale. Have your bidder number ready once we have sold you the item. We clerk our auctions with a "real time" computer system that provides for faster clerking and efficient settlement after the auction.
SALES TAX: Sales tax is often a question of concern at our auctions. When merchandise is moved to a location "known for conducting auction", we are required to charge sales tax and pay it into the state. The exceptions would be: autos, farm equipment, auctions conducted on location, or items purchased for resale by a buyer with a sales tax ID number. Please ask if you are not sure if you are purchasing items tax exempt or not.
ABSENTEE BIDDERS: We DO allow absentee bidding at our auctions. We will require full name, physical address and telephone numbers as well as a valid drivers license. You will be required to leave a starting and maximum bid for the item you wish to purchase. We bid on your behalf up to your maximum according to the pace of the sale.
